Important archaeological finds have been uncovered in the district of Marazzano, including two tombs in opus caementitium and a funerary epigraph embedded on an old farmhouse wall,—evidence of a Roman-period necropolis.
Of particular significance is the discovery of an Augustan milestone in travertine, about a meter high, on which the Roman numeral XX can still be seen. This find strongly suggests the presence of an ancient Roman road artery in the area, likely connecting to the Via Salariae, highlighting the historical centrality of Monte Vidon Combatte within the network of connections in ancient Picenum.
